9-year-old Ryan Codner has an imaginary light saber battle in his room in Eagan.

Usually I pretend that I have huge things instead of normal plastic swords. It’s really more funner. Say you want to have this really sweet gun that’s never been invented and never will be? You can just pretend.

Once I did this mega-huge battle in my room, and it was all my white guys against half of my greens. I don’t remember who won. I think they made a treaty with each other ’cause there was only three men left. And once I imagined that there was this really humongous ship that I had to blow up by myself. I put a few thermal detonators in the ship and got into a mini-ship with all my army men and flew away before it blew up.

Pretending, you can do anything.
